Jessica Gall-Adediran
A native Nebraskan, and now proud Chicagoan, Jessica Gall-Adediran most recently served as First Deputy for Public Safety in the Chicago Mayor's Office for Public Safety. In this role, she provided policy and project leadership for Chicago's seven public safety agencies - both emergency and police oversight agencies - and the federally mandated consent decree.
Prior to this role, Jessica first trained and worked as a high school English teacher before transitioning to the Anti-Defamation League (ADL) where she served as Education Director and then Senior Associate Regional Director advancing civil rights policy and coordinating anti-hate, anti-bullying, hate crime, antisemitism, extremism, and Holocaust educational programming with students, educators, law enforcement, elected officials, and the general community.
Now, through Gall-Adediran Consulting, LLC, Jessica is providing facilitation, event management, fundraising, project management, and strategic planning services focusing on DEI best practices to positively engage with community in responding to hate, extremism, bullying, and bias.
She lives with her 5-year-old son and husband in Albany Park, Chicago.
